Does anyone have any details (without promoting the cult) about the devilish William Branham ?

It is my understanding that he was once Oneness but went reprobate but I don't have any details.  People are still being deceived into hell with that junk so we might want to address it here.

I know that if one is unaware that one would think they were talking to real Oneness Christians.

I googled "william branam cult' and clicked on the link that said "William Branham man of God or false prophet", by Jesus-messieh.com.

Thats a oneness site, theres a history of that false prophet there. I'm just starting to check it out.

I'm afraid that those devils are as fruitcake as Brahanam, if it is who I think it is.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Branham

Here is a somewhat concise article in Wikipedia about Branham.  His theology was a bit odd...while he preached Oneness, he later said that both Oneness (as many Pentecostals taught it) and Trinity were wrong.  I am not sure how Branham came up with that conclusion.  He was at one time a Jesus' name preacher who was popular with the faith healing crowds throughout the 1940s and 1950s.  My former pastor's father was baptized in Jesus' name following one of Branham's revivals, and was a well-known Oneness preacher in Lancaster, Pennsylania until God took him home in 2005 (he was not a Branhamite).

I would venture to say that William Branham at one time walked in truth, but due to in part his own lack of education and poor choice of associates, he started messing with strange doctrines such as the infamous "serpent seed".  Somehow, because Branham continued to go further into the deep end, God allowed a drunk driver to take him out of the picture in 1965.

The link given by the other contributor was indeed a link to Gary Reckhart.

from what I've read of Gary Reckhart he's a messianic Jesus only acts 2:38 preacher. He teaches a post trib rapture, but I don't really know anything else about him, except that hes been a pastor for 25-30 yrs. The info on Brahnam was very good I thought, lots of questions and answers. He was definately a false prophet.

He is a reprobate devil and an heretic.

At one time I was a backslider and while out in the world I met a women that was a Branhamite. They believe in women having long hair and wearing dresses Jesus name baptisem a lot of things like the pentecostals do. I visited this church with another friend of mine that had promised to go visit her church she asked me to go with her because she didn't want to go alone. It was very strange to me because they kept preaching that California was GOING DOWN over and over talking about how it was full of sin that's all they talked about nothing about Jesus when I was there. I don't know what that was all about? I was also told that they were waiting for this guy name Brandon (he was suposed to be like an aswesome prophet even better than Paul himself) to return from the dead, he's suposed to come back in a limo. A man introduced himself to me and said he used to be Pentecostal until the Lord showed him the truth.. whatever. It just showed me that their are alot of people out there that believe in lots of lies and crazy stuff!
edited: well I googled him, they must have been calling him Branham but when they say it it sounds like their saying Brandon. This church I went to is in Arkansas.
