Believing on the Lord includes obedience to HIS plan of salvation.
Rom 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
If anyone really believed the Apostles they obeyed Acts 2:38.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the
name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy
Ghost.
Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off,
even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Baptism in Jesus name is for the purpose of the remission of sins.
Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
Anyone who has not been baptised in Jesus name is still in their sins.
John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
Trinitarians do not believe that Jesus is "I AM", so they reject Jesus Name baptism and die in their sins.
John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily , verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
NO ONE has received Christ without obeying his Word. That doesn't even make sense.
Heb 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
The trinitarians and others that refuse to obey have another end.
2 Th 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be
revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
2 Th 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the
gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 Th 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord,
and from the glory of his power;
A true preacher teaches the importance of obedience to the Word of God. A false preacher's job is to convince the lost that they are saved, even in disobedience. It is the way of the false preacher to convince the people that God's commandments are just helpful suggestions, but have no bearing on salvation.
